Silence of the Lambs

Hannibal Lecter: "A census-taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti."

Hannibal Lecter: "What became of your lambs, Clarice?"
Clarice: "They killed them."
Hannibal Lecter: "You still wake up sometimes, don't you? Wake up in the dark, and hear the screaming of the lambs."
Clarice: "Yes."
Hannibal Lecter: "You think if you save poor Catherine, you could make them stop, don't you? You think if Catherine lives, you won't wake up in the dark ever again to that awful screaming of the lambs."
Clarice: "I don't know. I don't know."
Hannibal Lecter: "Thank you, Clarice."

Hannibal Lecter: "I do wish we could chat longer, but I'm having an old friend for dinner. Bye."
